Eskan Bank and RERA Partner to Enhance Real Estate Data Transparency through “Baity” Platform
Eskan Bank has formalized a strategic partnership with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) through a cooperation agreement aimed at bolstering transparency and reliability within Bahrain’s real estate sector.
This collaboration was officially announced during the “Innovation in Social Housing Sector” Summit and Conference, held under the esteemed patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, under the theme “Towards Innovative and Sustainable Housing Solutions.”
The agreement focuses on the systematic documentation and verification of property data listed on Eskan Bank’s “Baity” Real Estate platform, and integrating this data with RERA’s “Aqari” platform to facilitate detailed analysis of market demand, consumer behavior, and property trends. This integration will also enable cross-verification of real estate information between the two platforms, ensuring data accuracy and enhancing market transparency.
Mr. Abdulla Taleb, General Manager of Eskan Bank, emphasized that this collaboration represents a significant advancement in the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the real estate market, and commented, “This partnership will provide accurate data to support citizens in their property ownership journeys and assist in the development of informed housing policies and plans. Furthermore, the initiative will enable Eskan Bank to offer more effective real estate services while maintaining the highest standards of data reliability on the Baity platform.”
“Through this partnership, we aim to contribute to the development of precise performance indicators for the real estate sector, supporting ownership and investment decisions for a broader segment of beneficiaries,” Mr. Taleb stated. “We also seek to establish new benchmarks for transparency that will enhance the Baity platform’s role in providing comprehensive housing solutions, aligning with the requirements of financing programs offered by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.”
His Excellency Eng. Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, Chairman of RERA, stated, “This partnership aligns with our strategic vision of fostering collaboration with key stakeholders to develop a more integrated and accurate understanding of market needs. It further strengthens the position of the Aqari platform as the authoritative national source for real estate data, supporting informed decision-making across the sector.”
Chairman of RERA further added, “By leveraging artificial intelligence and cutting-edge real estate technologies, Aqari is enhancing the user experience and setting new standards for digital transformation. We commend the Ministry of Housing and Eskan Bank for their progressive efforts through the Baity platform, which has played a vital role in streamlining access to housing services and keeping pace with the sector’s evolving demands.”
