The exhibition witnessed a large turnout over three days, with visitors eager to learn about the projects and financing options offered by banks and real estate companies. The Innovation in Social Housing Conference and Exhibition concluded with over 16,000 visitors in attendance.

The exhibition accompanying the Innovation in Social Housing Sector Conference concluded this Friday evening. It was organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from 23 to 25 April under the slogan “Towards Innovative and Sustainable Housing Solutions,” under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.

The exhibition witnessed a large turnout from citizens wishing to benefit from the new housing financing options recently introduced by the Ministry, with the number of visitors exceeding 16,000.

The exhibition saw wide participation from private sector partners, including real estate companies that showcased numerous real estate projects offering more than 15,000 properties, in addition to financing banks providing Tas’heel and Tas’heel+ financing and the features of the newly introduced category, as well as the participation of several government entities.

On this occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Chairperson of the Housing Bank, stated that the exhibition witnessed significant engagement from citizens over the past days with the exclusive offers presented by participating real estate companies, which exceeded 15,000 properties, in addition to the special financing offers provided by participating banks.

Minister Al Romaihi said that the Innovation in Social Housing Sector Conference and Exhibition saw remarkable turnout from citizens, especially with the launch of four new housing programs that contributed to diversifying and increasing the real estate inventory, and enabled citizens to benefit from the housing finance program and obtain suitable housing.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning indicated that four new programs were announced: the “Tomouh” program, the “Off-Plan Sale” program for beneficiaries of Government Land Development Rights projects, the “Private Land Development Rights” program, in addition to the launch of the second version of the “Baiti” real estate platform, which comes with additional features and advantages.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning commended the efforts of private sector partners, including companies, real estate developers, and commercial banks, and the cooperation they provided during the exhibition period in facilitating citizens’ procedures and offering the necessary support regarding financing services and real estate products.

Minister Al Romaihi noted that the exhibition witnessed high demand for reserving units in the “Al Wadi” project in Al Buhair area and the “Al Naseem” project in Salman City, which were presented by the Housing Bank at the exhibition as part of the Government Land Development Rights program, reflecting the rising rate of demand for units within the program’s projects.

It is worth noting that the exhibition featured more than 15,000 properties, including units, plots, and residential apartments, at special prices that align with the value of housing financing provided by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to citizens, with the participation of more than 16 real estate companies and five commercial banks.
